BRANDON BECK
Founder | General Contractor
Brandon is a licensed General Contractor in Grand County with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career as a framer, superintendent, estimator, and project manager, he has developed a strong understanding of both the craft and the business of construction, including remodeling, rehabilitation, and new residential construction.
Brandon excels at managing projects from the early stages of conceptual design through planning and construction. He works closely with owners, design professionals, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules, manage project details, and ensure clear communication throughout the process. His hands-on experience and collaborative approach enable him to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Brandon enjoys living and working in Grand County with his family. When he is not on the jobsite, you can find him snowmobiling in the backcountry. His connection to the community and the mountain lifestyle is reflected in the pride he takes in building homes and spaces that people can enjoy for years to come.
TYLER RIVIERE
Co-Founder | General Contractor
Tyler is a Colorado native who spent much of his youth in Grand County, building homes in Grand Lake alongside his father. Early on, he developed a passion for construction and learned the value of hard work and craftsmanship. He later continued gaining hands-on experience in residential construction along the Front Range before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
Throughout his career, Tyler has worked on a wide range of residential projects, helping manage complex builds and high-end renovations while developing strong skills in project coordination, planning, and execution. His combination of field experience and formal education allows him to approach projects with both practical knowledge and thoughtful planning.
Despite building his career in the Denver metro area, Tyler always felt a strong pull back to the mountains where his passion for construction began. After collaborating with Brandon and working together on several projects, the two decided to start Backcountry Contracting. Today, Tyler is proud to be building and improving properties throughout Grand County while creating a life in the mountain community he has always considered home.
